DAY 5: First weight in and I won’t lie the results made me raise an eyebrow. Progress so far: Day 1: 114kg (251lb) Day 5: 109kg (240lb) The sharp decrease in weight over the first few days I put solely down to water weight and fluid retention. Changing out all the fatty, high sugar foods for fruit, veg, grains and portioned meat plus 3 litres of water a day has always yielded fast results for me when going on a health kick. Now comes the hard part where the plateau is close and I have to work even harder. Shay’s inspiration is my motivation as I undertake my weight loss journey.
